In the series “Emotions Expressed” I was exploring the idea of the feelings we walk around with but don’t show. I used the background space to mirror the inner world of the subject. In “wild roses” perhaps that feeling is love or passion. The wild roses are a representation of this woman’s true heart. Her face is neutral and shows nothing of the blooming happening inside her.

This painting is from the series “Feelings Made Visible“.

This is an original painting and the only one of its kind. Signed on the front and back with date and title on the back. Sealed with an archival, UV protective varnish.
